WHAT IS WELLBEING?

Wellbeing is tuning in to your mental & physically state regularly and being aware of how you’re feeling. Knowing when to speed up and slow down. Since lockdown, we’re all finding new routines again as life gets busier and looking for a healthy balance. Be kind to yourself!

TRY TO INCORPORATE THESE STEPS TO WELLBEING REGULARLY AND SEE IF YOU NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCES:

  • MOVE- whether its going to your favourite gym class, a walk or dancing around doing the housework. Enjoy moving your body

  • SLEEP-everyone has different sleep patterns try to get into a wind down bedtime routine to promote a deeper sleep. ie. lighting your favourite candle and reading a good book

  • SOCIAL-make time for family & friends to socialise and interact at an event or just chilling at home

  • NATURE-get outside, breathe in the fresh air and take in your surroundings Put your mobile phone down and see what you notice

  • LEARN-challenge yourself by learning a new skill or taking up a new interest. Keeping your brain active and having fun!
